This South African beauty is arriving to rave reviews
Setting off from the south coast of England at 0430 on a wet and windy winter morning is not most people’s ideal way to begin the day. Fortunately we were headed to the airport to catch a flight for the much more inviting climate of Nice in the south of France where the sun was shining and the wind a gentle force three.
The occasion was the first appearance in Europe of the new Sunsail 384, a four cabin, two head, charter catamaran built by Robertson & Caine in South Africa and designed by Gino Morrelli and Pete Melvin of Play Station fame. They have also been responsible for the Moorings 40 and 46 sailing catamarans and the 37 and 474 power cats. Both Moorings and Sunsail are now part of the TUI travel group.
