From builder to crew to cruiser – The lengths we go to get to a boat show

Like many semi-custom boat builders, Antares Yachts relies on their relationships with owners to get a boat into the boat show – even if it means sailing 14,000 nm to get it there.

It was time to make a sweep of the deck after completing another night watch. A flying fish had hit the enclosure earlier that night and was now drying out in the sun. It wasn’t until much later in the day that we found its mate festering in one of the crew member’s duffel bags. It must have soared into the open cabin window with the surf of the waves.
