Provo, short for Providenciales, has become a very populated tourist destination with condos, high-rise hotels, and shops fully lining the popular Grace Bay. The beaches and reefs here are beautiful although, notunspoiled.

I had first sailed into Provo in 1986. At this time, it was a quiet island with a population of about 1,500 people. Now, 25 years later, there are close to 30,000 in all! Tim and I had a lot in common and became good friends and have stayed in touch over the years. We have built his sails and he has acted as our agent on Provo. Tim also was a multihull builder in Canada working closely with Nigel Irens to build the famous Formula Tag catamaran. Tim has found a great niche with high-end adventure charters, entertaining celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Bruce Willis to name a few.
